Short answers, no filler
Fourteen questions, answered in the order people ask them. Every answer is either from the official material or marked as unpublished; anything this site cannot source is not answered at all.

The answers
1. When did Astellia 2 come out? 5 November 2026, at 00:00 BRT (UTC−3). The servers have been open since then.
2. How much does it cost? Nothing to download. It is free to play with in-app purchases, and the Google Play listing discloses that those purchases include random items.
3. Is it on Steam? No. There is no Steam page. On PC the game installs through the HIVE Crossplay Launcher, downloaded from the official site.
4. What platforms is it on? Windows PC and Android today. iOS has an App Store listing with no date on it.
5. How many classes are there? Six: Knight, Berserker, Assassin, Archer, Scholar and Mage. Each has an official weapon, symbol, role and stated weakness.
6. Which class should I pick? The one whose weakness you find interesting. Knight and Scholar if you want to be needed in groups, Mage and Archer if you play solo, Assassin and Berserker if you want variance. The class picker has the full version.
7. What are Astels? Summoned companions that fight beside you, inherited from the 2019 original. One is named publicly — Papilla — and pre-registration handed out a guaranteed summon for it.
8. How long is the game? There is no published playtime, level cap or campaign length. It is a live-service MMORPG, so "how long" is a different question than it is for a single-player game.
9. Is there crossplay between phone and PC? Yes. One account, one character, either device. That is what the HIVE Crossplay Launcher is for.
10. Does it have a token or crypto? The global version has ATRA as an in-game currency and ATRAx as an on-chain token, with an optional wallet opening on 19 November (UTC+8). Supply, exchange rates and fees are unpublished.
11. Is it pay to win? The shop sells growth items and random summons. No published material describes direct stat purchases, and no published material proves the absence either. Read currencies and the cash shop and decide for yourself.
12. What languages does it support? The official site ships in English, Korean, Thai, Portuguese, Traditional Chinese and Indonesian. The client's own list is best checked in the in-game settings.
13. What are the system requirements? Windows 10 or later is the only published line. Everything else is officially pending final optimisation.
14. Is there a Colosseum? Yes — a player-versus-player arena with a seasonal ranking that feeds the reward economy. Details beyond that are unpublished.
Questions that do not have answers yet
These come up often enough to be worth naming, and none of them has an official answer on 6 November 2026:
- Level cap
- Server list and region lock
- Whether class changes exist
- Astel upgrade paths
- Pity rates on summons
- Patch schedule
- Event calendar
- iOS release date
A guide that answers any of those today is guessing. This one will add them when the developer does.
How this page is maintained
Every answer is checked against the official site, the PC install page, the tokenomics page and the store listings. When an answer changes, the page changes; when an answer does not exist, the page says so rather than filling the space.
The check date at the bottom applies to every answer above.
Where to go next
New players: what Astellia 2 is, then classes, then download and install.
Players who already installed: boss modes, Colosseum, combat and progression.
Players worried about the economy: tokenomics and currencies.
How to check an answer yourself
Every fact on this site can be traced to four places, and you can open all four in a browser:
- astellia2.com — classes, contents, tokenomics, pre-registration, install.
- The Google Play listing — availability, price model, content rating, disclosure.
- The App Store listing — iOS status.
- The PC install page — the Windows 10 line.
If an answer on this page is not supported by one of those four, it is either marked as reasoning or it does not belong here. That is the standard the site holds itself to, and it is why some answers are shorter than you might expect.
What this FAQ leaves out on purpose
There are questions a launch-week FAQ usually answers and this one does not: level cap, tier list, best Astel, fastest levelling route, expected playtime. Each of them requires numbers the developer has not published, and a guess in an FAQ is worse than a gap, because an FAQ is the page people trust without checking.
The same rule applies to the shop. There are no prices on this site, because the shop is only visible inside the client and quoting a number from a screenshot would be quoting a different region's store.
What is here is what can be sourced. What is missing is missing because the source is missing, not because nobody looked. 15. Where do I report a bug? The developer's support channel, listed on the store page. This site does not run a bug tracker and will not pass reports on, because a report routed through a fan site arrives later and less complete than one filed directly.
Checked 6 November 2026.
